Friendships in Grief gives you:
- Support and community: We're a friendly and nonjudgmental group. We invite all your grief and want to hear about your person. Plus, we've made it easy to meet others who are experiencing your specific type of loss.
- Coping skills and grief education: You'll find an entire section with articles, videos, and more. Whether it's getting through the week, learning how to find a good therapist, or dealing with people, we have you covered.
- Safety and well-being: What happens in the group, stays in the group. Ashley also chats with each person in our community, making it free from trolling, spam, and criticism. We're all here to support each other.

Mentorship: Ever read or listen to something on grief that resonated, then asked, "Okay, now what?" You have all the info, but still don't know what to do. Our group shows you how to apply skills so you can finally experience relief and clarity after loss.

About the group:
Who's the group for?
Death doesn’t discriminate and neither do we. Regardless of how much time has passed, if you’re grieving the death of someone, we welcome you.
Is the group on Facebook? What's it like?
Our group offers live, monthly sessions, in-group text chat, resources, and occasional events.
The group is not on Facebook. It can be accessed on your desktop or the mobile app (Android and iOS).
Can I meet people like me?
Currently, we have two separate loss-specific groups: married widow(er)s, unmarried widow(er)s, sibling loss, and parent loss.
How to participate:
Do I have to join live? Are there other options?
No. We’d love to have you live, but it isn’t required. Many grievers within our group find it supportive in other ways. You can chat online in groups or privately one-to-one.
How long are live sessions? Are they recorded?
The live sessions are between 60-90 minutes long. The virtual chat group is available to you at any time.
When are the live sessions held?
Our group has people across the globe. Sessions are held at various times to accommodate this and working hours. Members are notified in advance of when they’ll occur.
Assistance and Support:
Do I get to speak to Ashley?
Ashley responds directly to members in the group and live sessions. If you’d like private, one-on-one support, please consider booking a grief guide session.
I live outside of the U.S. Can I join?
Yes, people from around the world join our community.
Can I get a refund?
No refunds are processed at this time.
