Holiday Grief Event:
'Tis the Season & We Are Grieving
It's the most wonderful time of year ... until your person has died.
Whether you embraced the holidays in past years or could do without them, the end of the year can feel a bit heavier when you loved one has died. That’s why we’re hosting ‘Tis the Season & We Are Grieving, a special holiday gathering.
Join us to discuss holiday grief topics such as:
- Is it okay to opt out?
- Is there a way to prepare for holiday grief?
- How do we address people?
- What if people don’t want to mention them?
- Is it okay to be happy and want to celebrate?
- How do I handle traditions? And more…

It’s a difficult time, and I want to help you.
It’s important that you get the care you deserve while entering the season. The gathering will give you a safe, gentle space to sit alongside grief. To make sure of this, we’ll make it as comfortable as possible. We won’t start too deep or have you feeling too vulnerable. Instead, you’ll be validated and supported.
While there will be an opportunity to meet others, you won’t be required to right away. Instead, you’ll gain coping tools and suggestions for dealing with holiday grief. So come ask questions, learn from others, and listen in.
The event will not be recorded to maintain your privacy.
When is the event?
The live, 90-minute virtual event is on November 17.
- 4:30 p.m. PST Los Angeles

Being on camera for at least part of the event is recommended (especially if you want to chat with others). However, I do encourage you to at least have your mic on. As always, the event will not be recorded to maintain your privacy. (So catch it live!)
Nope! You can share as much as you like or nothing at all about your person and their death. For those who do share, details are required to be limited. You also won’t be positioned to support others in their grief.
We understand that it can be nerve-wracking not knowing what to expect and meeting new people when you’re grieving. Many of us are feeling a mixture of emotions this time of year. Therefore, you’re in similar company.
You’ll never be asked to share more than you want, called out, or invalidated. We also start off very gently. You won’t be made to meet people right away. And before we talk about the heavier stuff, you’ll be given proper coping tools.
