Meet Other Child Loss Survivors.

Get loss specific coping help as you grieve the child you love.

No one ever wants to experience the death of a child and often, this is considered the “ultimate loss.” Whether they were your daughter, son, niece or nephew, or another treasured relationship – you don’t expect to bury them.

So what is this life without them?

As a child loss survivor, you might find it hard to gain proper support. Perhaps few people understand your experience. This increases the difficulty of coping.

Because of this, Learning About Grief is hosting a Child Loss Gathering. We’re opening our virtual doors to anyone grieving a child’s death. So whether you’re a parent or grandparent, aunt, uncle, or teacher – you’re welcome in this space.

Katie Greer, a trained grief educator, will be our guest co-host. She is a bereaved parent and also has experience raising a child who’s a bereaved sibling. Together, we’re looking forward to supporting you and offering you ways to cope.

At the gathering, you’ll meet people who “get it,” and not just because they’ve lost someone. But because they’re surviving a loss like you.

When and where? It's virtual.

The event is 1-hour long. I’ll hang out a little after if anyone has personal questions.

What will we do?

This is a gathering. It’s a time when you can come together with other like-minded survivors who have lost a child.

You can share your experience, learn from others, and listen in. Being on camera is encouraged but not required. I do encourage you to have your mic on to chat with others. The event will not be recorded to maintain your privacy.
